Orioles ballgirl makes great play ... on fair ball

Edwin Encarnacion hit a hard liner past third base during Sunday's fourth inning at Camden Yards, allowing a Baltimore ballgirl to show off Andrelton Simmons-like range on a great running stab.

Unfortunately for her, the ball was fair and Encarnacion ended up with a ground-rule double on the play. 

It's easy to laugh at her mental error, but just remember how lucky you are that your office bloopers aren't broadcast live. I still have nightmares at the thought of people catching me in the Great Toner Cartridge Incident of 2012. 

Even with the unfortunate timing, the ballgirl surely caught some scout's eye with her extensive range and soft hands. And her UZR probably got a nice boost along the way.
