This Braves fan tried to get a McCann foul ball, but failed dramatically in the process

Everyone wants to catch a foul ball. Whether you're old, young, rich, poor -- we're all united by that desire to bring home a unique souvenir.

For this Braves fan directly behind home plate, the fantasy would have remained just that if not for a weird confluence of events. After all, how could he snare a foul ball behind that massive net?

Well, when catcher Brian McCann knocked a ball high into the air, and it ricocheted a few rows behind our protagonist, he saw a rare opportunity.

Unfortunately, he fell over trying to make the catch and dropped the ball.
