A lifelong Mets fan caught Curtis Granderson's home run and couldn't be happier about it

Lifelong Mets fan catches Granderson's go-ahead HR

When Curtis Granderson hit a two-run, go-ahead homer in the third inning of Friday's World Series Game 3, people were excited. Ask Chris Rock -- he was dealing all kinds of emotions about it. And while you're surveying the crowd, don't forget to check in with Mike Lavora, the lifelong Mets fan who was lucky enough to pick up Grandy's home run ball.

"It was a laser coming right for us," Lavora told MLB.com's Ian Kay. "The ball was coming fast. It was getting bigger and bigger. Before I knew it, it was hitting me in the leg."
