Slump? What slump? Bryce Harper hits 13th inning walk-off against Mets

Perhaps for the first time in his life, Bryce Harper has been struggling at the plate. Coming into Thursday's game, the 21-year-old phenom was hitting just .218/.325/.307 since returning from a thumb injury on June 30th. 

The slump even lead reporters to ask manager Matt Williams if there was a demotion coming. Needless to say, Williams wasn't having it

"It's not fair to the kid, it's not fair to the rest of the guys in that clubhouse to even think about sending Bryce Harper to the minor leagues, or to cause a stir. It's unacceptable. It won't happen."

Harper then went out and backed up his skipper with this 13th inning walk-off blast off Mets pitcher Carlos Torres:
