Angels DH Raul Ibanez reminds young fan to eat her fruits and veggies
Believe it or not, Angels designated hitter Raul Ibanez has been playing in the Majors since 1996. Nineteen productive seasons is nothing short of amazing, and Ibanez no doubt has a long list of rituals and practices that have kept him in game-ready condition through his age-42 campaign.
During Friday's MLB.com Chatting Cage, a young fan asked Ibanez to discuss one of those rituals -- specifically, his pregame meal.
It won't surprise you to hear that Ibanez keeps things healthy on game day:
"If I could have it my way all the time, I would have a baked sweet potato and some grilled chicken breast. That would be my favorite."
