Jose Trevino celebrates March Madness by sinking his own bucket at the Alamodome
Presumably impressed by the site of such things like buzzer-beating half-court shots that were on display this week, Rangers prospect Jose Trevino decided he wanted to do the same.
Playing in the Alamodome against the Royals on Saturday, Trevino popped the ball up in the air and got it to land right on the scoreboard -- one that is usually lowered during basketball games. That can't be a coincidence, right?
Sadly for Trevino, the ball was not worth three points, instead it was only counted as a foul. However, Trevino would draw a walk and eventually come around to score on Drew Stubbs' three-run home run. So maybe, in a way, it was worth three.
