Minor Leaguer makes insane diving catch

Minor League outfielder Omar Garcia (not to be confused with Nomar Garciaparra) was drafted by the Brewers in the seventh round of the 2013 MLB Draft. He started 2014 with the Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, and on Wednesday he made the Milwaukee front office look very, very smart.

With the Rattlers leading the Quad Cities River Bandits (who are a Class A affiliate of the Astros and not, in fact, a Grammy-winning bluegrass ensemble) by a score of 5-1 in the seventh inning, Bandits catcher Brett Booth stepped to the plate with a man on first. Booth clobbered the third pitch he saw to left-center for what would assuredly be an RBI and extra bases.
