The Metropolitan Opera performed 'Meet the Mets' with a special guest conductor

You know what goes together like peanut butter and jelly? Baseball and opera.

No, really! We're not even talking about Noah Syndergaard breaking out his horned helmet and joining the cast of Wagner's "Die Walküre," though we'd definitely like to see that.

On Tuesday, the chorus and orchestra of New York's Metropolitan Opera got together in the Lincoln Center Plaza to perform a rendition of "Meet the Mets." They were even lucky enough to get time with a world-famous guest conductor:

They should start calling themselves the Metstropolitan -- OK, fine I guess they don't even have to change their name.
