Theo Epstein took BP against Ryan Dempster, might be the Cubs' next breakout star

Pretend for a moment that you're a baseball executive with a reputation for breaking curses. Let's say you've helped two historically downtrodden teams win World Series, and that you've casually joked around with Barack Obama. What's the next step in your career?
Well … if you've dominated from the front office, why not try the field? That's what Theo Epstein did on Wednesday, taking BP off former Cubs pitcher (and now special assistant to the president of baseball operations) Ryan Dempster.
But it's not like this is the first time Epstein's picked up a bat. According to the Chicago Tribune, he played second base and even pitched a little in high school. (So Theo ... when do the Cubs get to take BP against you?)
