Tim Beckham made an amazing catch to rob Adrian Beltre of a base hit

Entering Friday's action against the Rays, Adrian Beltre was sitting just 15 hits shy of the magical 3,000. After taking a hack during his at-bat in the top of the first inning, he probably thought he was only 14 away. 
Only problem: Tim Beckham was stationed at second base. With almost no time to react, he came flying behind the second base bag to make the grab: 

That's a hit 79 percent of the time. But Beckham doesn't care about the odds -- even if the opposition is chasing history.
