Enjoy this news: Tommy Lasorda and Samuel L. Jackson go way back
While soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo was the headlining celebrity at Wednesday's Dodgers-Yankees matchup, master thespian and cultural maven Samuel L. Jackson also found his way onto the field.
First, he met with Dodgers legend Tommy Lasorda, and that conversation was exactly as amazing as you think it was. Lasorda joked that he knew Jackson "when you were poor." Watch the whole video up above -- it's pure gold.
