Vote for the best plays from the last week of the regular season

Can you believe it? There's a crisp October chill in the air and we've just watched the last full week of the regular season. It was full of things we thought we'd never see -- David Ortiz getting a standing ovation at Yankee Stadium, Vin Scully calling his final game and perhaps most unexpected of all, Bartolo Colon shagging fly balls in the outfield:

And now, for the final time in 2016, we need you to vote for the best plays of the past week of MLB. Choose wisely.

Best offensive play

John Jaso triples for the cycle, Matt Holliday hits what might be his last dinger as a Cardinal and Aledmys Diaz and Dee Gordon pay emotional tributes to Jose Fernandez.

Best defensive play

Mookie Betts shows off pennant-winning defense, Michael Martinez snatches a hit from Victor Martinez, Adeiny Hechavarria floats through the air to make a catch and Conor Gillaspie goes looking for some screen time.

Best pitching performance

Miguel Gonzalez and Tyler Chatwood help their teams shut out their opponents and Justin Verlander at Matt Moore rack up the strikeouts.
