Is this the Upside Down? Dustin from 'Stranger Things' sings the national anthem at Citi Field

2015 Mets Anthem Search. (Marc Levine/Mets)

Telekinetic adolescents. Demogorgons. Singing the national anthem in front of thousands of fans. Basically, no matter what the challenge is, Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin on Netflix's "Stranger Things," crushes it.
Long before we invited him into each of our homes for a series of binge watching, Matarazzo and his sister, Sabrina, won a Mets contest looking for an anthem singer.

Just as he was the breakout star from the show, Matarazzo clearly did the same for the Mets judges as he and his sister came out to sing the anthem before a Mets-Yankees game in 2015.

Of course, that wasn't the first time Matarazzo belted out some lyrics. He and his sister sang together before the U.S. Open tennis tournament in 2009, but Gaten -- in addition to featuring in "Les Miserables" -- is also a karaoke star, too.

If "Stranger Things" season two turns out to be a musical, well, I guess that won't be too bad.
