What was Bryce Harper up to on Wednesday? Oh, you know, just hanging out with 'Modern Family'

Think about your usual Wednesday. Probably involves heading to the office, sitting in traffic, maybe hitting up the gym and cooking dinner if you don't decide to say, "Nah. I'll just watch Netflix and eat an entire frozen pizza in one sitting." 

Turns out, that was not how Bryce Harper spent his day. With only a few weeks left until Spring Training starts, Harper used his time to hang with the cast of "Modern Family."

Julie Bowen, who stars as the mother Claire Dunphy, certainly enjoyed the presence of a homer-bashing superstar on set:

And while Wednesday's trip was only for a visit, hopefully the writers will write him into an upcoming episode. I mean, the thing practically writes itself. Just imagine: 

- With Harper in town, Cam thinks it would be a great idea to impress him by dressing up as Fizbo the Clown to reference "That's a clown question, bro." Of course, Mitch tells him this is a horrible idea and a very old joke, but Cam refuses to listen. 

- Meanwhile, Manny and Harper both fall in love with the same girl. 

- Phil, super excited to meet Harper and on his way to meet him, accidentally locks himself out of a house he was showing -- his car keys left on the kitchen counter.

Like I said, it writes itself!
