What's the next great baseball movie?

With Moneyball opening today, David Schoenfield at SweetSpot suggests some other teams worthy of silver screen adaptation.

There's the '96 Yankees, who emerged from decades of mediocrity thanks to a retread manager and a couple rookie stars. You won't believe this, but Rudy Giuliani cameos.

Or how about the hard-partying '86 Mets, led by Doc Gooden and Darryl Strawberry? We haven't seen this many fights on a charter flight since Air Force One.

Also on the list: the 1899 Cleveland Spiders. Maybe that one would go straight to DVD.
