White Sox celebrate Greek Heritage Night with 45-pound lamb
What's more Greek than delicious roasted lamb? For Wednesday's game against the Tigers, the White Sox celebrated Greek Heritage Night, serving exactly that.
After the 45-pound lamb was roasted for nearly five hours, it was transformed into "tacos" with small pitas, cucumbers, tomato, onion, olive oil and tzatziki sauce -- similar to a mini gyro.
"We're selling through them," said Vasilios Prassas, the General Manager of Bacardi at the Park said. "It's crazy."
