Who will the Red Sox sign this offseason to bolster their offense?

Despite an early postseason exit in the American League Division Series against the eventual World Series champion Houston Astros, the Red Sox' 2017 campaign was far from disappointing.

They held off the Yankees to win the AL East crown and saw new ace Chris Sale strike out more batters (308) than any AL starting pitcher since Pedro Martinez in 1999 (313).

The Red Sox offense, however, was disappointing relative to the team's overall success, ranking 22nd in OPS and 27th in home runs. With several intriguing bats available in free agency and via trade, Boston looks likely to add some firepower to the lineup.
