WWE wrestlers take over Yankee Stadium, are afraid to play catch with the Bombers
With WrestleMania looming this Sunday, superstar wrestlers The Big Show, Kofi Kingston and Natalya took in batting practice from the field at Yankee Stadium.
The Big Show, a baseball fan himself, was amazed at how fast the players tossed the ball simply while playing catch. He got the opportunity to catch up with Alex Rodriguez, Mariano Rivera and Yankees legend Reggie Jackson.
When asked about his baseball abilities, Kingston said, "If I got to play baseball, I would probably be somewhere out in the outfield. I like to jump around a lot so you know I could jump up and rob those home runs."
Yankees right-hander Joba Chamberlain is a huge fan of both Big Show and the WWE. "We were talking and [Big Show] was like, 'If somebody threw a baseball that hard at me, I would want to fight him,'" the reliever said. "I was like, 'OK, then I guess we are not going to play catch.'"
Probably a wise move, Joba.
