Meet the young Yankees fan from Boston who drove to Yankee Stadium on a school night

Growing up a Yankees fan in Red Sox country must be tough. You're constantly surrounded by reminders of the enemy; your friends and schoolmates are all Red Sox fans. Every bumper sticker, license plate, cap and sweatshirt bears the 'B' logo. So, when the Yankees and Red Sox faced off in the postseason for the first time since 2004, Boston-dwelling Bronx Bomber supporters Sam and Abby made the drive to Yankee Stadium for Game 3 of the ALDS
They didn't care that it was a school night, with Abby due in class by 7:45 a.m. the next morning, or that they had a long trip back as soon as the game was over. That's commitment to the cause.
Unfortunately for the two, the Yankees and Red Sox didn't play a quick one with a seven-run, fourth-inning outburst from the Red Sox ensuring it would be a late and unhappy night for the two fans. Watch the video above for the full interview.
