Yankees Social Media night a treat -- er, tweet -- for lucky fans

The Yankees hosted their first Social Media Night on Friday by inviting fans to hang out, socialize, play some trivia and, of course, take in the ballgame between the Bombers and the Angels.

More than 20 lucky Yankees fans were invited to bring one guest into the Social Media Suite and join in the fun. The suite was graced with visits from a few special guests -- former Yankees southpaw David Wells, sideline reporter Meredith Marakovits and Bleacher Creature Vinny Milano stopped by to socialize.

Three games of trivia were played throughout the night, but with a catch. In order to win, the suite member had to tweet the trivia question and get a correct response from one of their followers. The prizes included signed baseballs by Nick Swisher, CC Sabathia, and David Robertson, each including their Twitter handles and signatures.

Accompanied by an exciting 6-5 comeback victory, Social Media Night was an amazing treat -- or should be say tweet -- for a bunch of lucky fans.
