Yasiel Puig fields single between his legs, is an on-field magician

Yasiel Puig fields single between legs

Yasiel Puig's Yasiel Puig-iness is well documented. Whether he's dancing around on the basepaths, hitting ALL the triples, getting his hair done for the All-Star Game, branding baseballs with his name or making ridiculous catches in the outfield, his short tenure in Major League Baseball has taught us that he's a human highlight reel.

Puig made sure Tuesday was no exception, fielding a single between his legs in the fifth inning of a matchup against the Padres ... just because he can.

San Diego third baseman Yangervis Solarte sent a single into the right-center gap, and Puig hustled over to cut the hit off. In doing so, he fielded the ball between his legs and turned in one motion, firing to second to hold Solarte at first.

For his next trick, we'd like to suggest using a blindfold or selecting a volunteer from the studio audience to saw in half.
