Reminder, baserunners: Do not ever run on Yasiel Puig or Yoenis Cespedes
There's an old saying that goes, "There are two constants in life -- death and taxes." That's great. That's correct. But that person forgot two things:
Do not run on Yoenis Cespedes:
And never, ever, for the love of god, no matter what is happening, run on the cannon that is Yasiel Puig's arm:
Let's see that last one again:
Cespedes' laser, clocked by Statcast at 93.5 mph, came during the Mets' 6-3 win over the Braves, while Puig's, which may remind you of this other Coors Field shotput, helped protect any threat to a one-run lead in the Dodgers-Rockies matchup. His traveled a mind-boggling 310 feet at 93.5 mph.
They've done it before and they'll do it again. Please guys, just stop running.
