The pitcher-catcher relationship is a strange and unexplainable bond. It's kind of like a marriage mixed with a two-man magic show -- the whole sometimes being more than the sum of its parts. It's why this partnership even has its own name: The battery.
So, with pitchers and catchers reporting today, we want to know which ace and catcher are the best duo in baseball.
Today, we ask for your help in ranking them. You'll need to do a little guesswork, as many of the top pitchers in the game will be throwing to a new backstop this year as catchers like J.T. Realmuto, Mike Zunino, Yasmani Grandal and others have been on the move.
