Locastro, 26, has made 21 Major League appearances over the last 2 seasons with the Dodgers (2017-18), hitting .167 (2-for-12) with 1 double, 2 walks, 6 runs scored and 5 stolen bases. The majority of his career appearances came in 2018, hitting .182 (2-for-11) with 1 double, 6 runs scored and 4 stolen bases in 18 games, 10 of which came as a pinch-runner. He was acquired by the Yankees from the Dodgers via trade on Nov. 21, 2018. u5:p
In 6 Minor League seasons in the Blue Jays (2013-15) and Dodgers' (2015-18) systems, he has batted .292 AVG/.376 OBP/.404 SLG with 114 doubles, 19 triples, 28 home runs, 200 RBI, 142 walks, 394 runs scored and 162 stolen bases in 568 games. He entered 2018 rated by Baseball America as the Fastest Baserunner in the Dodgers' system and has been successful in 81.0 percent (162-for-200) of his career stolen base attempts.
