D-backs recall Bracho; place Walker on DL

The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled RHP Silvino Bracho from Triple-A Reno and placed RHP Taijuan Walker on the 10-day disabled list with right forearm inflammation.

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled RHP Silvino Bracho (@silvinobracho) from Triple-A Reno and placed RHP Taijuan Walker on the 10-day disabled list with right forearm inflammation.
Bracho, 25, has gone 1-0 with a 7.94 ERA (5 ER in 5.2 IP) in 3 appearances for the Aces this season. He appeared in 21 games over 8 stints with the D-backs in 2017, posting a 5.66 ERA (13 ER in 20.2 IP) with 25 strikeouts and 7 walks, including holding the opposition scoreless in 12 of his final 15 outings. He also limited right-handed hitters to a .204 average (10-for-49).
Bracho has gone 0-2 with a 5.46 ERA (35 ER in 57.2 IP) and 59 strikeouts in 60 games over parts of 3 Major League seasons with the D-backs.
Walker, 25, left his start yesterday against the Dodgers after the second inning. He has posted a 3.46 ERA (5 ER in 13.0 IP) in 3 starts for the D-backs this season.
