D-backs recall Christian Walker from Triple-A; Matt Andriese to A-Advanced

The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled INF/OF Christian Walker (@CWALK328) from Triple-A Reno and optioned RHP Matt Andriese to Single-A Advanced Visalia.
Walker, 27, was hitting .299 (97-for-324)/.354 OBP/.568 SLG with 25 doubles, 4 triples, 18 home runs, 71 RBI and 26 walks in 84 games with Reno this season, including batting .343 (37-for-108) with a 1.035 OPS in his last 29 games. At the time of his promotion, he ranked among the Pacific Coast League leaders in slugging pct. (3rd), OPS (6th, .922) and RBI (T-12th).
Walker has played in 20 games with the D-backs in 2018, hitting .208 (5-for-24) with 1 double, 1 home run, 2 RBI and 3 walks. In 44 Major League games with the Baltimore Orioles (2014-15) and D-backs (2017-18), he is batting .190 (12-for-63) with 3 doubles, 4 home runs, 5 RBI and 8 walks.
Andriese, who turned 29 on Tuesday, has gone 3-5 with a 4.09 ERA (33 ER in 72.2 IP), 1 hold and 73 strikeouts in 36 combined games (4 starts) with the Tampa Bay Rays and D-backs in 2018. He was acquired from the Rays on July 25 for C Michael Perez and RHP Brian Shaffer.
