D-backs Reinstate Kubel, Place Gregorius on 7-day disabled list

The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) announced they reinstated outfielder Jason Kubel from the 15-day disabled list and placed infielder Didi Gregorius (@DidiG18) on the 7-day disabled list (retro to April 27) with a mild concussion, according to D-backs' Executive Vice President & General Manager Kevin Towers.

Kubel, 32, is hitting .333 (10-for-30) with 2 doubles, 2 home runs and 6 RBI in 8 games with the D-backs this season. He was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left quadriceps on April 13 after originally suffering the injury on April 5 @ Brewers.

Gregorius, 23, sustained a contusion to his right temple after being struck in the head by a Josh Outman pitch on Friday. He has hit safely in all 7 games this season, going 11-for-27 (.407) with 4 doubles, 2 home runs and 2 RBI.
