Dodgers to host 5th LGBT Night on June 9

April 20th, 2017

For the fifth year, the Dodgers will promote inclusion by playing host to LGBT Night at Dodger Stadium. LGBT Night is set for June 9, when Los Angeles hosts the Reds in the first of a three-game series.
Ticket packages include an exclusive Dodgers LGBT T-shirt and are on sale at dodgers.com/LGBT.
"We are once again proud to work with so many incredible partners for our fifth annual LGBT Night at Dodger Stadium," Dodgers executive vice president and chief marketing officer Lon Rosen said. "We are especially excited to partner with LA Pride for the first time ever. The Dodgers, with a proud history of diversity, recognize the value of an inclusive environment."
The night starts with the official 2017 LA Pride kickoff party at 5:30 p.m. PT in the Right Field Plaza bar. The annual LA Pride Festival continues June 10-11 in West Hollywood. Friday night at Dodger Stadium will serve as the beginning of the annual weekend-long celebration of the LGBTQ+ community through music, art and culture.
Special guests scheduled to appear include Golden Globe Award-winning actor Matt Bomer -- who will throw out a ceremonial first pitch -- as well as MLB executive Billy Bean, Brian Pendleton (founder of #ResistMarch), Noah Galvin (best known for his role in "The Real O'Neals") and Paul Katami and Jeff Zarrillo (best known for being plaintiffs in the landmark case that wound its way to the U.S. Supreme Court and successfully overturned Proposition 8 and restored marriage equality to California).
