Dodgers acquire two Minor Leaguers from Tribe

Ethier, Ravin transferred to 60-day DL to make room on 40-man roster

SAN FRANCISCO -- Needing roster depth because of numerous injuries, the Dodgers on Sunday acquired Minor League outfielder James Ramsey and utility man Zach Walters from the Indians for cash. Both players had been designated for assignment and will be sent to Triple-Oklahoma City.
To make room on the 40-man roster, the club moved outfielder Andre Ethier and reliever Josh Ravin to the 60-day disabled list.
The Dodgers are especially thin in the outfield after losing Ethier to a broken leg and Carl Crawford to lower back stiffness. In addition, Scott Van Slyke came out of Saturday's game with a stiff back. Ravin is out with a broken left (non-throwing) arm suffered in a spring auto accident.
