Anderson sharp in Triple-A rehab outing

PHOENIX -- might have earned his activation by the Dodgers on Friday when he threw five efficient innings in a playoff rehab start for Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Anderson allowed one run on three hits with five strikeouts and no walks. He has been on the disabled list since Aug. 23 with a finger blister, after missing most of the season following spring back surgery.
Anderson could work his way into the postseason mix as the fourth starter after , and . Rookies , , and are up against innings limits.
Other candidates include and , although both are uncertain as they work back from thoracic and hip issues, respectively.
