PHOENIX -- The Dodgers' Justin Turner, Alex Guerrero and Yasmani Grandal stepped up their returns from various injuries on Monday.
Turner, being brought back slowly from offseason microfracture knee surgery, played 3 1/2 innings in his first Cactus League game this spring, and after a busy workout in the Dodgers' 6-2 win over the Brewers, said he felt fine.
Guerrero also reported no additional problems after taking three at-bats as a designated hitter in his first Cactus League game in a week after twisting a knee.
And Grandal caught Scott Kazmir for five innings in a "B" game against the White Sox, the catcher's first game action in four days after developing sore forearms from extra batting practice.
Turner, the starting third baseman, doubled in a run, walked, scored twice (including from first base on an Adrian Gonzalez double) and made a diving stop on defense.
"I'm still standing," Turner said. "Everything is a test to see how I feel on both sides of the ball. I had a little extra adrenaline with the fans in the stands. I was anxious to get back out there in a real game. Playing on the back fields is good to get the work in, but it's not the same adrenaline and intensity with the fans in the stands. I felt great. Ran, slid into home, dove for a ball. Everything felt fine."
Turner said he was especially pleased with the hit he stole from Aaron Hill.
"I didn't get one ball hit to me over there [in Minor League games]," he said. "Now I know I can still catch it."
"I was holding my breath when he was coming around third base," manager Dave Roberts said.
Turner and Grandal are likely to have a light day on Tuesday and be back in games on Wednesday, barring any setback. Guerrero might play on Tuesday.
Also, pitcher Alex Wood said he felt fine after a light bullpen session on Monday, will throw a regular session on Tuesday and plans to start on Thursday after being skipped on Saturday with slight forearm tightness.
