Dodgers reinstate Carl Crawford; option Alex Guerrero to Triple-A Albuquerque

Crawford returns from the paternity list to the active roster

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today reinstated outfielder Carl Crawford from the paternity list and optioned infielder Alex Guerrero to Triple-A Albuquerque. Crawford returns after the birth of his third child, Carl Leo Crawford, early Saturday morning in Arizona. The Houston, Texas, native appeared in 116 games for the club in 2013 and batted .283 with six homers, 30 doubles and 15 stolen bases.

Guerrero ended his first big league Spring Training camp hitting .300, with a team leading nine RBI, after signing with Los Angeles as a free agent on Oct. 21, 2013.
