Dodgers reinstate Jerry Hairston Jr. from the Disabled List; Option Dee Gordon

The Los Angeles Dodgers today reinstated infielder/outfielder Jerry Hairston Jr. from the 15-day disabled list and optioned shortstop Dee Gordon to Triple-A Albuquerque. Hairston last played in a Major League game on May 5 at San Francisco and is batting .255 (13-for-51) with one home run and five RBI in 20 games this season for Los Angeles. Hairston made two rehab starts with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga, going 0-for-5. The 36-year-old is in his 16th professional season overall and second with the Dodgers.

Gordon batted .175 with five steals, a homer and eight RBI in 19 games with the Dodgers.
