AMERICAN LEAGUE EAST

Blue Jays: Yennsy Diaz, RHP (No. 26) -- 6 IP, 0 R, H, 0 BB, 5 K (Double-A New Hampshire)
Diaz was brilliant during his first start of the 2019 season, yielding only a Barrett Barnes infield single in the second inning of the Fisher Cats' 3-1 victory over Binghamton, walking none and striking out five. The right-hander looks to continue carrying over his strong performance in '18, when he posted a 3.05 ERA over 27 appearances (25 starts) between Class A Lansing and Double-A Dunedin.

Orioles: Yusniel Diaz, OF (No. 1, No. 63 overall) -- 1-for-2, HR, 2 BB, 2 RBIs (Double-A Bowie)
Diaz launched his first home run of the 2019 campaign, a two-run shot in the third inning off Harrisburg right-hander Sterling Sharp in a 6-2 Baysox win. Diaz slashed .285/.392/.449 with 11 homers and 12 steals in 97 games between Double-A Tulsa (Dodgers organization) and Bowie.

Rays: Jesus Sanchez, OF (No. 4, No. 38 overall) -- 3-for-5, HR (1), 4 RBIs (Double-A Montgomery)
Sanchez connected for his first home run of the season in the ninth inning, launching a two-run homer over the wall in right-center field off right-hander Alex Powers in an 11-7 loss to Chattanooga. Last season, he hit .282/.324/.433 with 11 homers in 117 games between Class A Advanced Charlotte and Double-A Montgomery.

Red Sox: Bobby Dalbec, 3B (No. 3) -- 3-for-4, HR (1), 2 RBIs (Double-A Portland)
Dalbec belted his first homer of the season, a solo shot to left field off left-hander Bailey Falter that opened the scoring in the second inning. Dalbec hit .257/.361/.558 with 32 home runs over 129 games between Class A Advanced Salem and Portland.

Yankees: Luis Gil, RHP (No. 13) -- 3 1/3 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 4 BB, 6 K (Class A Charleston)
Gil struggled with his command in a 7-2 victory over Columbus but managed to escape unscathed in his first start of the season. It was a continuation of the theme from 2018, when he posted a 1.96 ERA and 34 percent strikeout rate, but also a walk rate of 16 percent.

Indians: Ernie Clement, SS (No. 15 ) -- 1-for-4, 2B (Double-A Akron)
Though he's gotten off to a slow start (0-for-10), Clement picked up his first extra-base hit of the season with a double in the eighth inning of Akron's 3-2 loss to Altoona. The shortstop rose from Class A to Double-A in 2018, hitting .289/.358/.375 with 18 steals in 102 games between Class A Lake County, Class A Advanced Lynchburg and Akron.

Royals: Jackson Kowar, RHP (No. 7) -- 5 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 2 BB, 6 K (Class A Advanced Wilmington)
Kowar was brilliant over five hitless innings in Wilmington's 2-1 victory over Salem. He was strong in his first professional season in 2018, posting a 3.42 ERA over nine starts for Class A Lexington.

Tigers: Sergio Alcantara, SS (No. 15) -- 4-for-4, 2B (Double-A Erie)
Alcantara is off to a hot start at the plate thanks to a four-hit performance in which he doubled and scored five runs to help Erie to a 16-5 victory over Trenton. He spent last season with Erie as well, slashing .271/.335/.333 in 120 games.

Twins: Jose Miranda, 3B (No. 14) -- 2-for-5, RBI (Class A Advanced Fort Myers)
Miranda picked up his first two hits of the season with a pair of singles in Fort Myers' 2-1 loss to Charlotte. Between Class A Cedar Rapids and Fort Myers last season, the third baseman hit .264/.319/.417 with 16 homers in 131 games.

White Sox: Luis Robert, OF (No. 4, No. 39 overall) -- 2-for-4, HR (3), 3 RBIs (Class A Advanced Winston-Salem)
Robert continued his red-hot start at the plate in Winston-Salem's 11-10 loss to Frederick Keys, going 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in the top of the ninth, his third home run already on the young season. Robert, part of a stacked White Sox farm system, is hitting .529 (9-for-17) so far. He hit .269/.333/.360 in 50 games across three levels in an injury-shortened campaign last year.

A’s: Grant Holmes, RHP (No. 12) -- 3 IP, 0 R, H, 2 BB, 3 K (Double-A Midland)
Coming off a rotator cuff injury that cost him most of the 2018 season, Holmes opened the '19 campaign with a solid performance, turning in three scoreless innings in Midland's 4-1 victory over Frisco. He posted a 4.49 ERA over 29 outings (24 starts) for Midland in '17, his last full season.

Angels: Jared Walsh, 1B (No. 21) -- 2-for-6, 2B, 2 RBIs (Triple-A Salt Lake)
Walsh picked up his third double of the season with a two-bagger to drive in Salt Lake's first run in a 9-8 loss to Albuquerque. Across three levels last season -- Class A Advanced Inland Empire, Double-A Mobile and Triple-A Salt Lake -- he hit .277/.359/.536 with 29 homers in 128 games.

Astros: Yordan Alvarez, LF (No. 3, No. 43 overall) -- 1-for-5, HR (4) (Triple-A Round Rock)
Alvarez hit a go-ahead, three-run homer in the 10th inning of Round Rock's 9-6 victory over New Orleans. It was his fourth homer of the year, and he's batting .357 (5-for-14) on the young season. Alvarez is looking to continue his impressive performance at the plate after slashing .293/.369/.534 with 20 homers between Double-A Corpus Christi and Triple-A Fresno last year.

Mariners: Julio Rodriguez, OF (No. 5) -- 3-for-5, 2 2B, 2 RBIs (Class A West Virginia)
Rodriguez picked up three hits, including a pair of doubles, in West Virginia's 6-5 loss to Greenville, extending his hot streak to open the season. He's hitting .471 (8-for-17) so far after slashing .315/.404/.525 with five homers and 10 steals in the Dominican Summer League last year.

Rangers: Joe Palumbo, LHP (No. 7) -- 4 2/3 IP, R, 2 H, 3 BB, 8 K (Double-A Frisco)
In a game suspended in the 11th inning due to weather, Palumbo started and tossed 4 2/3 strong innings, getting eight of his 13 outs by way of strikeout. Last season, the southpaw posted a 2.78 ERA in 11 starts across three levels.

Braves: Touki Toussaint, RHP (No. 6, No. 49 overall) -- 3 IP, R, H, 4 BB, K (Triple-A Gwinnett)
Toussaint gave up just one run, but did have some control issues in Gwinnett's 4-3 victory over Norfolk, walking four batters while striking out one in his first start of the season. Over 16 starts with Double-A Mississippi and eight with Gwinnett last season, the right-hander posted a 2.38 ERA and 29 percent strikeout rate. He also got his first taste of the Majors, appearing in five games for Atlanta following an August call-up.

Marlins: Jordan Yamamoto, RHP (No. 17) -- 5 IP, 2 R, 4 H, BB, 9 K (Double-A Jacksonville)
Yamamoto got 15 outs in his first start of the 2019 season, and nine of them came by way of the strikeout as Jacksonville dropped the first game of a doubleheader with Jackson, 2-0. A 12th-round pick of the Brewers in the 2014 Draft, the right-hander had a strong 2018 campaign, turning in a 1.55 ERA over seven starts with Class A Advanced Jupiter, and a 2.12 ERA over three starts with Jacksonville.

Mets: Ryder Ryan, RHP (No. 22) -- 2 IP, R, 2 H, K (Double-A Binghamton)

Phillies: Ranger Suarez, LHP (No. 10) -- 5 IP, 0 R, 4 H, 2 BB, 6 K (Triple-A Lehigh Valley)
Suarez was strong in his first outing of the season, starting and tossing five scoreless frames in Lehigh Valley's 7-0 win over Rochester. The left-hander out of Venezuela pitched well over 21 starts between Double-A Reading and Lehigh Valley in 2018, posting a 2.75 ERA.

Nationals: Nick Roquet, LHP (No. 23) -- 5 IP, 2 R, 4 H, 2 BB, 4 K (Class A Advanced Potomac)
Roquet started and turned in five solid frames in Potomac's 6-2 win over Fayetteville. He made 24 starts, 12 apiece between Class A Hagerstown and Potomac in 2018, posting a 3.74 ERA.

Brewers: Tyrone Taylor, OF (No. 29) -- 2-for-4, 2B, 3B, 2 RBIs (Triple-A San Antonio)
Taylor is off to a blistering start at the plate, adding two more hits in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Oklahoma City. With a double and a triple, he's hitting .412 (7-for-17) with a pair of homers to open the season. In 119 games with Triple-A Colorado Springs last season, he hit .278/.321/.504 with 20 home runs and 13 steals.

Cubs: Justin Steele, LHP (No. 8) -- 3 2/3 IP, R, 4 H, 3 BB, 4 K (Double-A Tennessee)
Steele started and tossed 3 2/3 innings against Mississippi, giving up a run on four hits, walking three and fanning four. In 11 starts across three levels last year, he turned in a 2.31 ERA.

Cardinals: Dylan Carlson, OF (No. 7) -- 2-for-3, 2 2B, RBI (Double-A Springfield)
Carlson continued his hot start to the season with a pair of doubles in Springfield's 6-5 loss at Northwest Arkansas. He's hitting .400 (6-for-15) with three doubles and a homer so far. Last year, the Cardinals' first-round pick in 2016 slashed .246/.348/.390 with 11 homers in 112 games between Class A Peoria and Class A Advanced Palm Beach.

Pirates: Ke'Bryan Hayes, 3B (No. 2, No. 45 overall) -- 2-for-5, 2 2B, 2 RBIs (Triple-A Indianapolis)
Hayes went 0-for-8 in his first two games of the season, but since is 3-for-9 with two doubles, both of which came in Sunday's 5-2 win over Columbus. Hayes, a first-round pick of the Pirates in 2015, spent the 2018 season with Double-A Altoona, for whom he hit .293/.375/.444 with seven homers and 12 steals in 117 games.

Reds: Taylor Trammell, OF (No. 2, No. 16 overall) -- 2-for-5, HR (2) (Double-A Chattanooga)
Trammell put together his first multi-hit game of the season and homered for the second straight game, launching a solo shot in the bottom of the first to give Chattanooga an early lead en route to an 11-7 victory over Montgomery. At Class A Advanced Daytona last year, he hit .277/.375/.406 with eight home runs and 25 steals in 110 games.

D-backs: Andy Young, 2B/SS (No. 11) -- 2-for-2, HR (1) (Double-A Jackson)
Young belted his first homer of the season, a solo shot in the second inning of Jackson's 2-0 victory over Jacksonville in the second game of a doubleheader. Overall, he's 6-for-15 (.400) on the young season, after slashing .289/.379/.479 with 21 homers in 119 games between Class A Advanced Palm Beach and Double-A Springfield (Cardinals organization) last year.

Dodgers: Will Smith, C (No. 6) -- 2-for-4, 3B (Triple-A Oklahoma City)
Smith is hitting .400 (4-for-10) on the season after tripling and going 2-for-4 in Oklahoma City's 4-1 loss to San Antonio. In 73 games with Double-A Tulsa last season before a promotion to Oklahoma City, the catcher hit .264/.358/.532 with 19 homers. He looks to build on this year's strong start at Triple-A, as he slashed just .138/.206/.218 with a home run in 23 games at that level last year.

Giants: Seth Corry, LHP (No. 25) -- 3 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 5 BB, 7 K (Class A Augusta)
Corry held Asheville hitless over three frames, but had issues with his control, walking five. He did get seven of his nine outs with strikeouts, however. The left-hander had a 3.59 ERA over 14 starts between Rookie level and Class A (short season) Salem-Keizer in 2018.

Padres: Luis Patino, RHP (No. 6, No. 47 overall) -- 5 IP, R, 4 H, 3 BB, 7 K (Class A Advanced Lake Elsinore)
Though he walked three batters, Patino yielded just a run on four hits while striking out seven over five innings in Lake Elsinore's 2-1 win over Inland Empire. The 19-year-old right-hander was impressive at Class A Fort Wayne in 2018, turning in a 2.16 ERA over 17 starts.
