Dodgers recall Andre Jackson

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher Andre Jackson and optioned right-handed pitcher Mitch White. 

Jackson, 25, returns for his fourth stint with the club and he is 0-1 with a 1.04 ERA (1 ER/8.2 IP) and seven strikeouts in two big league games. The former 12th round pick of the 2017 First Year Player Draft out of the University of Utah has split the season between Low-A Rancho Cucamonga, Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City and is a combined 5-5 with a 3.68 ERA (39 ER/95.1 IP) and 103 strikeouts. 

White, 26, pitched a scoreless inning last night and he is 1-3 with a 3.68 ERA (19 ER/46.2 IP) and 49 strikeouts in 21 games for the Dodgers. He has spent parts of the season with Low-A Rancho Cucamonga and Triple-A Oklahoma City, going a combined 3-0 with a 1.65 ERA (8 ER/43.2 IP) and 53 strikeouts in 10 games. In 10 games at the Triple-A level, he is 1-0 with a 1.69 ERA (6 ER/32.0 IP) and 39 strikeouts. The former second rounder out of Santa Clara University is 2-3 with a 3.44 ERA (19 ER/49.2 IP) in 23 career MLB games.
