Fundraising

The Dodger would like to work with you in exceeding your fundraising goals! Unlike many other fundraisers, there are no miles to walk, no melting candy to sell, and no sponsor sheets to collect. All you have to do is organize a group outing to a Dodgers game! The Dodgers continue to make it easy, fun, and affordable to enjoy Dodger Baseball while raising funds for your non-profit organization. Thousands of organizations have participated and many have made attending a Dodgers game their annual fundraising event!

HOW FUNDRAISING WORKS

Your organization will have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets on select dates and may resell the tickets for up to face value.

Here is an example: Tickets in the Preferred Reserve section for the May 21st game are $12 each at the group rate. The regular price (also known as face value) of these tickets is $24. The face value is what will be printed on your ticket. If 20 people in your organization sold 10 tickets each at the face value (for a total of 200 tickets sold), your organization just made a profit of $2,400!

If you are not looking to maximize your fundraising capability, you may resell the tickets at a few dollars less than face value. This allows you to offer your target market a discount they would not normally receive unless they were a part of your group while still raising funds.

FOUR EASY STEPS TO FUNDRAISE

  1. Select a game that your group would like to attend. All dates are available for group purchase except Opening Day (Thursday, March 29, 2018).
  2. Contact Group Sales Representative at (866) DODGERS to verify that your game and seating preferences are available.
  3. Group prices are subject to change, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance. You can purchase as many tickets as you anticipate your group will need, and rest easy knowing you can return up to 50% of any unneeded tickets (above the group minimum) for a full refund at least 3 weeks in advance of your game date.
  4. Resell them for up to face value and keep the difference!

TIPS TO HELP MAXIMIZE YOUR FUNDRAISING EVENT

  • Select one of our Super Saver Fundraising Days - these days offer the most fundraising potential (4/1, 4/13, 4/14, 4/21, 4/22, 4/24, 5/13, 5/21, 5/23, 5/26, 5/27, 5/28, 5/29, 6/9, 6/15, 6/28, 7/1, 7/2, 7/14, 8/14, 8/20, 9/3).
  • Create a group poster and hand out information at all of your events prior to the game.
  • Include the price of a game ticket with the registration fee for an activity, convention or league.
  • Pre-sell the tickets to family and friends at least 4-6 weeks from your targeted event date

Make sure to speak with your Group Sales representative about specific game day exposure for your organization (subject to availability and ticket purchase requirements):

  • Pregame recognitions on the field
  • Opportunity for kids from your organization to take the field with the Dodgers
  • Opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch
