The Giants made the following roster moves prior to Sunday's game:  
RHP Jeff Samardzija was placed on the 10-day DL with right shoulder inflammation.
IF Kelby Tomlinson was recalled from triple-A Sacramento.
·       This is the third time he's been recalled this season…he is batting .221 (25-for-113) in 48 games with the Giants.
·       He has played in 24 games for Sacramento, batting .244 (21-for-86).
