Here's a look at Wednesday’s top Minor League performers from each team's Top 30 Prospects list:

Royals: Bobby Witt Jr., SS (MLB No. 3), Triple-A Omaha
After collecting three total hits in his previous five games, Witt nabbed three at once Wednesday. Kansas City’s top prospect added a pair of stolen bases and a run batted in as well. Witt’s second pro season has been split almost evenly between Double-A (61 games) and Triple-A (55 games), and he’s enjoyed exactly 16 homers and 14 steals at both levels. His OPS at Triple-A (.978) is nearly 40 points higher, however, which is just another indicator of how ready he is for a look in the Majors. Royals prospect stats »

Cubs: Brennen Davis, OF (MLB No. 14), Triple-A Iowa
Now in his second week at the Triple-A level, Davis still hasn’t cooled down one bit. He has at least one hit in all seven games with Iowa, compiling a 12-for-27 stat line with three home runs, six RBIs and three walks. That included a 2-for-3 night with a home run and a walk on Wednesday. The Cubs’ top-ranked prospect is up to his third level in the Minors this season and he’s raked at each one. Giants: Patrick Bailey, C (No. 8), Low-A San Jose
The second two-homer game of Bailey’s season came Wednesday as the headliner portion of a 3-for-4 performance. The 22-year-old even added a double for good measure, which secured his first career game with three extra-base hits. Bailey, the 13th overall pick in 2020, began his pro career with High-A Eugene. That didn’t yield great results (.587 OPS in 33 games), but Bailey has settled in at the Low-A level, where he’s batting .331. Giants prospect stats »

Indians: Xzavion Curry, RHP (No. 30), Double-A Akron
Curry’s second Triple-A start outdid his first, as he allowed one run on two hits and two walks over five innings (while striking out eight). After being picked in the seventh round of the 2019 Draft, the 23-year-old is just now getting a taste of pro baseball in 2021. His debut season has included stops at three levels in the Minors, in which he has enjoyed a 2.28 ERA and 131 strikeouts across 102 2/3 innings. Indians prospect stats »

Phillies: Mickey Moniak, OF (No. 17), Triple-A Lehigh Valley
On his first pitch upon returning to the Minors, Moniak did what he could to show why he’s knocking on the door of the Majors. The 23-year-old belted a no-doubt home run in the first inning and he later added a triple and a walk to round out a rain-shortened return after six games with the Phillies. The 2016 first-overall Draft pick hasn’t found his stride with the big club yet -- going 3-for-33 with 16 strikeouts this year -- but he has a chance to finish this season strong in Triple-A. Rays: Ford Proctor, C/INF (No. 30), Double-A Montgomery
Proctor’s second three-hit game of the past two weeks (and his fifth of the season) came with a home run and three RBIs. The 24-year-old is on a nine-game on-base streak with 13 hits, five walks and 12 RBIs in that span. After posting just a .622 OPS through his first two months in Double-A, Proctor has enjoyed three productive months since to push his season-long OPS up above .800. Rays prospect stats »

Rockies: Chris McMahon, RHP (No. 10), High-A Spokane
McMahon tossed 6 1/3 strong innings, allowing just a run on four hits and two walks. He also struck out seven, which is a tally he’s reached in five of his past six starts. The 22-year-old also has four quality starts in that span to go with a 2.62 ERA. In his first pro season after being selected 46th overall in the 2020 Draft, McMahon has a 9.4 strikeouts-per-nine rate. Rockies prospect stats »
