Ballpark Pass FAQs

Q: Which phones are supported?
A: The Giants Ballpark Pass is supported by iPhone and Android phones only

Note - iPhone requires iOS 11.0 and later. Android requires 5.0 and later

Q: Can I purchase the Giants Ballpark Pass if I don't have a supported phone?
A: The Giants Ballpark Pass is a mobile-only program integrated with the MLB Ballpark app and is only supported on iPhone and Android phones.

Q: Which games are included with my Giants Ballpark Pass?
A: Your Giants Ballpark Pass includes all 2019 Giants regular season home games for the month purchased except for Opening Day (4/5), the New York Yankees Series (4/26-28) and the last game of the season (9/29).

Q: Does my Giants Ballpark Pass give me an assigned seat?
A: The Giants Ballpark Pass grants you access to the ballpark and does not include a seat.

Q: What areas of the ballpark can I access with the Giants Ballpark Pass?
A: Giants Ballpark Pass holders have access to all public areas of the ballpark: The Waterfront, The Garden, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale Plaza, concession stands and designated standing room locations along the Promenade and View Levels. The Giants Ballpark Pass does not include a seat.

Q: How do I access my Giants Ballpark Pass for entry to the ballpark?
A:

  • Accept your ticket via text message
  • Tap Wallet in the bottom menu of the MLB Ballpark app
  • Tap the game you're attending and View to access the barcode

Q: When can I access my Giants Ballpark Pass?
A: Approximately 3 hours before first pitch you will receive a text message to activate your Giants Ballpark Pass.

Q: Where do Giants Ballpark Pass holders enter the ballpark?
A: Giants Ballpark Pass holders can enter the ballpark via any main gate.

Q: Can I upgrade my Giants Ballpark Pass to a specific seat?
A: Subject to availability, seat upgrades will be offered for an additional fee within the MLB Ballpark app via Upgrades & Memories icon on the Team Page.

Q: Can I print my Giants Ballpark Pass mobile ticket?
A: The Giants Ballpark Pass is a mobile-only program integrated with the MLB Ballpark app. Tickets cannot be printed.

Q: How do I renew my Giants Ballpark Pass for the next month?
A: The Giants Ballpark Pass auto-renews each month to the Visa you used at the time of purchase throughout the 2019 regular season. You will be charged $29.99 on the 3rd Monday of each month through August 2019. Charges will be processed as follows:

  • At time of purchase - April Pass
  • April 15 - May Pass
  • May 20 - June Pass
  • June 17 - July Pass
  • July 15 - August Pass
  • August 19 - September Pass

Q: How do I cancel my Giants Ballpark Pass?
A: You may opt-out of your monthly subscription of the Giants Ballpark Pass by emailing customerservice@sfgiants.com by the following dates for cancellation to take effect on the last day of that month:

  • Cancel May Pass by April 12
  • Cancel June Pass by May 17
  • Cancel July Pass by June 14
  • Cancel August Pass by July 12
  • Cancel September Pass by August 16

Any cancellation request made after the date above will be effective the last day of the next calendar month. Note: After cancellation, your Giants Ballpark Pass will be filled by a fan on the waitlist. To repurchase the Giants Ballpark Pass, you will need to register for the waitlist. Passes are subject to availability.

Q: Is the Giants Ballpark Pass refundable?
A: Giants Ballpark Pass purchases are non-refundable.

Q: Can I sell my Giants Ballpark Pass for games that I do not attend?
A: The Giants Ballpark Pass is non-transferable.

Q: Can I share my Giants Ballpark Pass with someone else?
A: The Giants Ballpark Pass is non-transferable and must be managed on the smartphone of the person who purchased the pass.

Q: I bought two Giants Ballpark Passes. How does my guest enter the ballpark?
A: The Giants Ballpark Pass is non-transferable and must be managed on the smartphone of the person who purchased the pass. Your guest must be with you at the time of entry. The pass is mobile-only. Passes cannot be printed and will call is not available.

Q: Will I get the giveaways with my Giants Ballpark Pass?
A: Giants Ballpark Pass holders are eligible to receive the giveaways distributed at all main gates (while supplies last).

Q: What happens if a game is rained out?
A: If a game is rained out and rescheduled, your Giants Ballpark Pass will be valid for the rescheduled game.
