Cleveland, OH—The club’s 2022 Cactus League schedule under the new name Cleveland Guardians, was announced today. The Guardians will open their spring slate at home against the Cincinnati Reds on Feb. 26 at Goodyear Ballpark.

Cleveland will play 15 games as the home team at Goodyear Ballpark and 15 away games with one of those contests coming against the Reds at Goodyear Ballpark. They will have two split-squad games (March 8 & March 19) and seven weekend games in Goodyear (Friday – Sunday):

• February 26 vs. Cincinnati
• March 6 vs. San Francisco
• March 11 vs. Texas
• March 13 vs. Los Angeles-NL
• March 19 vs. San Diego
• March 25 vs. Seattle
• March 26 vs. Chicago-NL

The Guardians will open the 2022 slate at Progressive Field against Kansas City on March 31, 2022.
