Indians medical update

LHP RAFAEL PEREZ underwent an arthroscopic debridement of his left throwing shoulder earlier today in Wilmington, DE.  The 30-minute surgical procedure was performed by Dr. Craig Morgan at the Morgan Kalman Clinic in Wilmington. Perez is expected to make a full recovery for spring training in 2013.  He was limited to just 8 relief appearances in 2012 and last pitched on April 25th due to left latissimus and shoulder soreness.

RHP UBALDO JIMENEZ had his right ankle examined in Cleveland this week and will miss his final start of 2012 with a right ankle sprain; had symptoms of the injury during each of his last 2 starts
