The Cleveland Indians and food and beverage partner Delaware North Companies Sportservice announced Thursday a lengthy extension to their partnership. Per company policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Sportservice and the Indians have enjoyed a very productive partnership over the past 20 years and look forward to continuing and enhancing that partnership in the years moving forward. The two organizations are together focused on bringing fans at Progressive Field the best game-day experience possible.
"We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Indians at Progressive Field; we have been a part of the game-day experience since the ballpark opened its doors in 1994," said Sportservice President John Wentzell. "The future is certainly exciting as we will work collaboratively with Indians leadership to continuously review all aspects of our operation -- ensuring a top-rate experience for the fans. And as we have been doing in recent years, we will emphasize on adding local flavors and concepts, making Progressive Field a strong representation of the city's food culture."
"We thank Delaware North Companies Sportservice for their continued support in entertaining and servicing our fans," said Cleveland Indians Vice President of Concessions KURT SCHLOSS. "As we celebrate our 20th anniversary and look to our future, we are excited our renewed partnership with DNC will provide us the opportunity to make substantial improvements to enhance the fan experience at Progressive Field for years to come."
