Cleveland, OH -- Back for the 2018 season, the Cleveland Indians will once again offer a special ticket discount for the military and their families. With this discount, military and their families can save up to 20 percent on tickets to select games.
The military discount is offered online only for various locations at Progressive Field, including the Family Deck, Upper Box and Outfield Club. Military discount details and military verification powered by ID.me are available at Indians.com/military.
"Military members and their families have made incredible sacrifices for our country, and this is a small way of thanking them for that sacrifice," Tribe Senior Vice President of Public Affairs Bob DiBiasio said.
The Indians have long supported the military through various initiatives, including programs organized by its manager and players. Through the Friends of Francona program, Indians Manager Terry Francona donates to deserving military families eight club seats and $20 of loaded value vouchers per person. Veterans will also receive Indians-branded military caps and T-shirts, as well as an in-game scoreboard message.
Corey Kluber also gives back to members of the military and their families. Throughout the season, Corey and Amanda will host local veterans from the Cleveland VA Medical Center on select home games. The veterans will watch batting practice on the field and enjoy the game from the Club Lounge.
