After an uncharacteristically slow start to his season, Francisco Mejia is back to raking.
Mejia, the Indians' No. 1 prospect (No. 16 overall), hit a solo home run, his seventh, and went 3-for-3 on Thursday, extending his hitting streak to six games in Triple-A Columbus' 5-3 win over Indianapolis. He's hitting .438 and has hit safely in 20 of 22 games this month after producing averages of .187 and .192 in April and May, respectively.
Mejia has been especially hot during his streak, posting a .500 average (13-for-26) and reaching base at a .552 clip while tallying multiple hits in all six contests. The 22-year-old catcher actually has tallied multiple hits in eight of his past nine contests, during which he's boosted his season average from .244 to .277.

One of the more accomplished hitters in the Minor Leagues, Mejia famously authored a 50-game hitting streak, tied for fourth-longest in Minor League history, in 2016, when he batted .342/.382/.514 over 102 games between Class A Lake County and Class A Advanced Lynchburg.

• No. 9 overall prospect Kyle Tucker (Astros' No. 1) hit a solo home run in his first at-bat for Triple-A Fresno, extending his hitting streak to 17 games. He went on to finish 2-for-4 with two runs scored, two RBIs and a stolen base. The 21-year-old outfielder is raking at a .472 clip with 10 multihit games during his streak. Overall, Tucker is hitting .318 with 13 homers, 62 RBIs and 14 steals through 73 games.

• No. 25 overall prospect Luis Robert (White Sox No. 3) hit a double, drove in three runs and collected a career-high four hits as Class A Advanced Winston-Salem defeated Frederick, 10-8. The 20-year-old outfielder is hitting .300 in eight games since joining the Dash. Gavin Sheets (White Sox No. 11) launched a pair of solo homers in the victory to match his total from his previous 59 games. The 22-year-old first baseman is hitting .357 over his past 10 games.
• With a two-run home run for Triple-A Memphis, No. 52 overall prospect Tyler O'Neill (Cardinals' No. 2) has now homered in three straight games. The 23-year-old slugger has done that three times this season in the Pacific Coast League -- four including his time in the Majors. Altogether, O'Neill has gone deep 21 times in 63 games this season between Memphis and St. Louis.
• No. 73 overall prospect Heliot Ramos (Giants' No. 1) had gone 0-for-4 with two strikeouts before connecting on a game-winning two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning in Class A Augusta's 6-5 win over Greenville. The 18-year-old outfielder is slashing .242/.316/.385 with six homers on the season and owns a .274/.343/.421 batting line in June.
• No. 91 overall prospect Peter Lambert (Rockies' No. 3) struck out nine batters, a season high, scattered three hits and allowed one earned run over seven innings en route to his fifth win in as many starts for Double-A Hartford. The 21-year-old righty has allowed exactly one earned run while completing at least seven innings in each of those five starts, during which he's lowered his Eastern League-leading ERA from 3.00 to 2.23. He also leads the circuit with a 0.99 WHIP and 92 2/3 innings pitched.
• Blue Jays No. 30 prospectJon Harris allowed one unearned run on four hits over six innings to earn the win in his debut with Triple-A Buffalo. Throwing 51 of his 81 pitches for strikes in the outing, Harris struck out four, generated nine ground-ball outs and did not issue a walk. He was promoted to Buffalo after logging a 0.97 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 18 2/3 innings over his final three starts with Double-A New Hampshire.
• Mets No. 4 prospect Justin Dunn racked up 10 strikeouts over seven innings for Double-A Binghamton, marking his second 10-strikeout, seven-inning outing in five starts and first at the Double-A level. He allowed three runs (one earned) on five hits and one walk while throwing 68 of his 100 pitches for strikes. The 2016 first-rounder owns a 2.51 ERA and an 80-to-26 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 71 2/3 innings (13 starts) this season across two levels.
• Rays No. 7 prospect Wander Franco collected a career-high four hits and finished a double short of the cycle in Rookie-level Princeton's loss against Bristol. Franco's homer, a two-run shot in the ninth, was the second of his career as well as his second in as many games. The 17-year-old shortstop owns a .344 average and has hit safely in seven of eight games to begin his career.
• Rays No. 14 prospect Brandon Lowe connected on his seventh home run in nine games in Triple-A Durham's 12-1 win over Norfolk. The homer, a two-run shot, came in Lowe's first at-bat of the game, which he finished 3-for-5. Though not known for his power, the 23-year-old Lowe has shown plenty of it this season, hitting 15 home runs and 23 doubles in 73 games across two levels.

• Catcher Nick Ciuffo (Rays' No. 23) also went 3-for-5 and hit a home run, his first of the year. He owns a .310 average in 18 games with Durham after missing the first 50 games due to a suspension. Chih-Wei Hu (No. 25) paced the Bulls on the mound by tossing a season-high eight innings of one-run ball in which he scattered nine hits and struck out four.

• Twins No. 7 prospect Brent Rooker blasted a pair of solo homers as well as a double and scored three runs, though it wasn't enough to keep Double-A Chattanooga from falling to Tennessee, 7-5. The multihomer performance was Rooker's second this season and pushed his total to 13 through 71 games with the Lookouts. He's enjoying his best month so far, sporting a .322/.394/.678 batting line with 16 extra-base hits and 18 RBIs in 22 games.
