Indians recall RHP C.C. Lee from AAA Columbus

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:
 
Recalled RHP C.C. LEE (#20) from AAA Columbus.
 
Optioned RHP DANNY SALAZAR to AAA Columbus.
 
Lee, 27, is set to rejoin the Indians bullpen and begin his fourth stint with Cleveland this season (April 2, April 9-May 16, July 18-22). Around his stops with the big league club, Lee has gone 0-1 with one save and a 3.30 ERA (30.0 IP, 29 H, 11 ER, 9 BB, 37 SO, .250 AVG) in 25 games for the Columbus Clippers. The right-hander has made 5 straight scoreless appearances (6.0 IP, 4 H, 1 BB, 9 SO) for Columbus since his most recent 3-day stint (July 18-22) with the Tribe. Lee has yet to post a decision with Cleveland this season, scattering 6 earned runs across 12.2 innings (4.26 ERA) in 15 relief appearances. Lee has limited opposing Major League batters to a .207 (6-29) average against with runners on base and a .167 clip (3-18) with RISP.      
 
Salazar, 24, pitched last night at Cincinnati and has gone 4-5 with a 4.88 ERA (34 ER/62.2 IP) and 69 strikeouts against 23 walks (9.9 SO-per-9.0 IP) in 12 games/starts for Cleveland this season, winning 3 of 4 outings during his most recent stint in the Indians rotation since being recalled July 22.
