The Cleveland Indians today announced the following transactions relative to the Major League Spring Training camp roster:
Optioned OF ABRAHAM ALMONTE, C FRANCISCO MEJĺA, RHP JULIAN MERRYWEATHER, LHP SHAWN MORIMANDO and RHP ADAM PLUTKO to AAA Columbus.
Reassigned RHP LOUIS HEAD, RHP JOSH MARTIN, LHP ADAM WILK and INF BOBBY BRADLEY to Minor League camp.
The current Major League camp roster consists of 50 players.
