Get Started
On your Xumo Stream Box, you will find the MLB app either in the Sports section or Apps Menu (Sports Row).
How to Access MLB
After launching the MLB app on your Xumo Stream Box, you will be presented with the option to Get Started, which will guide you through a net new signup, or to Log In if you have an existing MLB.TV Account.
Users are first asked to select a favorite and following team. These selections will drive personalization throughout the app. Users are required to select a favorite team, but they may choose to skip following additional teams if they wish.
From the Welcome Center, a user has the option to create an account, purchase a subscription, login or directly enter the app without logging in. User will be prompted to log in as soon as he/she attempts to access Live, Archived or Featured video content.
To create a free MLB account to access the Free Game of the Day or other content, follow these steps:
- Enter your email address and password into the fields
- Click “create account”
Upon successful account creation you can click ‘Get Started”
If the user selects the “Browse Subscription” option from the Welcome Screen they will be taken to the Paywall.
To Purchase an account, please follow these steps:
- Visit mlb.com/xumo
- Select your team
- Log IN or create an account.
- Start your 7-day risk free trial
- Return to your TV and log in
To Log In to your account simply enter your registered email address and MLB account password and click “Log In”. Alternatively, users can scan the QR code provided/ follow the url and enter the code to Log In from a mobile or desktop device.
Upon successful log-in, you will need to click “Get Started” to continue.
