The "Supreme Court" is back in session

King's Court will expand to Supreme Court for Felix Hernandez's first home start of 2013

Safeco Field will be a sea of bright yellow on Thursday, April 11, when Felix Hernandez is scheduled to start against the Texas Rangers, his first home start of the 2013 season. For this special session of the "Supreme Court," the first 25,000 fans will receive a special t-shirt and commemorative K card, courtesy of ROOT SPORTS. First pitch is 7:10pm.

Special ticket prices for the game are $10 for all View Level seats and $25 for select Main Level, Terrace Club and Outfield Reserved seats. Tickets for the game are on sale now without service charge at the Safeco Field Box Office and at all Seattle Mariners Team Stores (4th & Stewart in downtown Seattle, Bellevue Square, Southcenter Mall & Alderwood Mall). Tickets are also available online at and by phone at 1-888-SEA-HITS (732-4487).

"The first Supreme Court on August 21, to celebrate Felix's perfect game against the Tampa Bay Rays, created such a special atmosphere in the ballpark that we wanted to do it again to celebrate Felix's first start of the season at Safeco Field, and to celebrate that he will be in a Mariners uniform for years to come," said Kevin Martinez, Vice President of Marketing, Seattle Mariners.

The Supreme Court grew out of the "King's Court," specially designated sections in left field where yellow-t-shirted fans cheer on Felix by waving K cards and chanting for strike outs. The King's Court started in 2011. But rather than restricting the boosters to designated sections, the whole ballpark is Felix's cheering section when the Supreme Court is in session.
