When pitcher Félix Hernández takes the mound at T-Mobile Park on Thursday, September 26 against the Oakland A’s, there will be a special King’s Court cheering section to commemorate his final start at T-Mobile Park for the 2019 season.

All those who purchase tickets for the King’s Court will receive a “Forever the King” T-shirt created especially for this game. Mariners players will wear the T-shirts during batting practice before the game on the 26th.

Fans will also receive a “Thanks” placard that features the now iconic image of Félix celebrating, or “Félixing,” after his August 15, 2012 perfect game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Tickets for the September 26 King’s Court are available at Mariners.com/Félix and all ticket locations including Mariners Team Stores and the T-Mobile Park box office.

Since his Major League debut on August 4, 2005, Félix has become the Mariners all-time winningest pitcher and the club’s all-time leader in strikeouts. He holds the Mariners record for most Opening Day starts (10). In addition to throwing the 23rd perfect game in Major League history, Félix won the American League Cy Young Award in 2010, is a two-time winner of the A.L. ERA title (2010, 2014) and is a six-time All-Star (2009, 2011-2015).
