2017 served as a very special year as the Marlins hosted the MLB All-Star Game for the first time ever. The organization decided to use this once-in-a-lifetime event to showcase the importance of community.
The Marlins and MLB contributed more than $5 million towards the 2017 All-Star Legacy initiatives to fund community improvement projects.
Renovations took place throughout South Florida at Youth Baseball and Softball playing fields, Boys & Girls Club teen centers, an airport military hospitality lounge and a mobile eye unite. The Marlins made an impact on the community that will benefit generations to come.
